TEMPE, Ariz. -- Quarterback Matt Barkley and eight-year NFL defensive lineman Red Bryant were among the 22 players cut by the Arizona Cardinals to reach the leagues 53-man limit.The team also released linebacker Donald Butler, who started 62 games in five seasons with San Diego; wide receiver Brittan Golden, who appeared in 15 games with the Cardinals lasts season; and safety Chris Clemons, who was working as backup to Deone Bucannon at the dollar linebacker position.Barkley, the former USC standout acquired in a trade with Philadelphia last season, struggled in the preseason before a strong showing in the final game.
