NEW YORK -- The latest round of class-action concussion lawsuits against the NCAA were filed by former college football players from Stanford, Boston College, North Carolina, Wake Forest and BYU.The lawsuits were filed in federal courts late Thursday by Chicago-based attorney Jay Edelson. At least 15 lawsuits have been filed since May, and as many as 50 are expected.Previous suits have been filed by former players from Penn State, Ohio State, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and other schools. The lawsuits name major college conferences such as the Southeastern Conference and Big Ten, the NCAA and in some cases individual schools. The players are seeking damages for injuries they claim are the result of mishandled concussions they suffered while playing college football. Buddy Hield Jersey .C. -- Manny Malhotra had two goals and an assist, leading the Carolina Hurricanes to a 6-3 win over the Ottawa Senators on Saturday. Mitch Richmond Kings Jersey . This should be celebrated because it will not always be this way. With the amount of money given to players by their clubs these days, it is a wonder that so many of those teams allow the sport to continue to take away many of their assets so they can play for a different team in the middle of their season. http://www.nbakingsonline.com/Authentic-Jason-Williams-Kings-Jersey/ . Two pressure cooker bombs exploded near the finish line of the April 15 race in an area packed with fans cheering the passing runners. Three people were killed and more than 260 injured, including at least 16 who lost limbs. Bogdan Bogdanovic Kings Jersey . -- Three close looks at the bucket, three misses. Bogdan Bogdanovic Jersey . Spiller left Week 3s 27-20 loss to the New York Jets with a thigh injury, but fully practiced with the team all week and expects to be ready to go on Sunday. Browse around the top of the standings and its no surprise to see the Chicago Cubs. This is where the Cubs were supposed to be, after all, and to this point theyve lived up to the hype. Theyre not out there all by themselves though. Within striking distance you find the Texas Rangers, and the San Francisco Giants, who are running away with the National League West. The Giants, too, were supposed to be good -- why else would a team sign Johnny Cueto? -- but this team has the feel of an overachiever. It was supposed to be more of a dogfight. And, who knows, maybe itll still be a dogfight, but the Giants have a stranglehold on the division with the Los Angeles Dodgers being a modest disappointment. The Giants, on the other hand, have clicked, and theyve overcome their own injury issues. A team doesnt achieve the Giiants record without defeating a little adversity, and its been a whole team success.dddddddddddd.How have the Giants gotten to this point? It begins with Cueto and Madison Bumgarner. With Cueto restored, few teams can compete with the Giants front two. The bullpen has had its wobbly moments, but for the most part its gotten the outs its needed. The team defense has been outstanding -- the team ranks first in baseball in defensive runs saved, and it ranks second in ultimate zone rating.Yet you cant overlook the lineup. Its not exactly a juggernaut, even if the ballpark keeps the power down. But no team controls the zone like the Giants do. Theyre on a historic pace in that category. ' ' '
